Gary Still Active in The Community Even When Running for School Board

Gary Dennis spent another evening helping raise money by working the concession stand for the Dentsville Youth Baseball League. When asked why he dedicates so much of his time to the Dentsville Youth Baseball League, Gary explained, "Let's be honest, a lot of parents are working two or three jobs, but they still want their kids to be involved in something active instead of staying at home. That's why I'm here—as the League President, Commissioner, Field Manager, Cook, Window Salesman, and a coach—doing everything I can to make sure these kids have the best experience possible. We often don’t know the challenges these kids are facing, but if my volunteering can give them even a night or two of joy, then it's absolutely worth it."

Gary Dennis has been committed to serving this community ever since he transitioned from military to civilian life. He continues to embody the principle of "service over self," something much needed in today’s world.
