Meet & Greet, Engaging with Voters, and Still Coaching Baseball for Dentsville
On Saturday, I had the chance to host a meet-and-greet and connect with many voters, sharing campaign literature and discussing key issues. However, the event was cut short when a three-car accident happened nearby on Polo Road. I quickly left to help at the scene, providing first aid to the victims. One car had spun around, and I stayed with those involved until paramedics arrived, even assisting in getting one person onto a stretcher and into the ambulance. Thankfully, from what I’ve heard, everyone is okay. My thoughts are with those affected, and I want to thank the State Highway Patrol, Richland County Sheriff’s Department, and the Dentsville Fire Department for their fast response. Afterward, I brought the leftover donuts and coffee from the event to the Fire Department to show my appreciation.
Later that day, I spent time placing campaign signs throughout the community. On Sunday, I attended Village Church at Blythewood, where I heard an inspiring sermon and had the chance to talk with voters about important issues like behavioral challenges and safety in our schools. Afterward, I continued putting out signs.
On Monday, October 21st, I spent the day speaking with voters again, and in the evening, I coached the 15U softball league in Dentsville. I’m incredibly proud of my players—one of our newer players overcame his fear of being hit by the ball and nailed a solid hit down the third-base line! The team’s bats came alive, and although we didn’t win, it was a great game that taught the boys that sometimes you can do everything right, but the other team can still make incredible plays. I’ll be out at the ball fields every night to support the league, even while running for office. Coaching these young boys is a priority, just as my dedication to them mirrors my commitment to serving the families of Richland Two.
I’m dedicated to staying involved in the community, and I hope to see you at the polls. Early voting is open, so make sure to cast your vote! Thank you, and have a wonderful day.

Gary Dennis Steps up to help Round Top PTO Boosterthon
When you’ve got a full day of meetings, work, and campaigning, but the PTO calls and says they need help—you make it happen. That’s exactly what I’ll do for all the children of Richland Two, no matter the challenge. I’m committed to showing up for our kids and making sure they have the support they need. Gary spent almost 3 ½ hours dancing, hugging, high-fiveing, taking pictures, and cheering on kids while they ran laps to Dude Perfect Boosterthon. “I had a blast and to see the smiles on the kids faces was worth me stopping my day to help.”—Gary Dennis. “When it comes to children and dogs I will do just about anything in this world to help them out.”—Gary Dennis.
That’s why I’m asking for your vote. Let’s make it happen together.

Gary Still Active in The Community Even When Running for School Board
Gary Dennis spent another evening helping raise money by working the concession stand for the Dentsville Youth Baseball League. When asked why he dedicates so much of his time to the Dentsville Youth Baseball League, Gary explained, "Let's be honest, a lot of parents are working two or three jobs, but they still want their kids to be involved in something active instead of staying at home. That's why I'm here—as the League President, Commissioner, Field Manager, Cook, Window Salesman, and a coach—doing everything I can to make sure these kids have the best experience possible. We often don’t know the challenges these kids are facing, but if my volunteering can give them even a night or two of joy, then it's absolutely worth it."
Gary Dennis has been committed to serving this community ever since he transitioned from military to civilian life. He continues to embody the principle of "service over self," something much needed in today’s world. If you're looking for someone who is truly dedicated to the well-being and future of the children in Richland District Two, then Gary Dennis is your candidate for the Richland Two School Board.
Remember, early voting begins on October 21, 2024. When you cast your vote, make sure to look towards the bottom of the ballot and **VOTE for Gary Dennis!**

Gary Dennis and Family Attends Brookland Baptist with close friend.
This past Sunday October 13th, my family and I had the pleasure of attending church with a dear friend who is like family at her church Brookland Baptist Northeast Campus. We enjoyed a heartfelt service and a wonder message delivered by the pastor about giving to people in need. It was also a great opportunity to connect with voters, sharing my views and plans for the Richland Two School District. It was refreshing to hear that many of the priorities I want to focus on align with the desires of the community.
One thing that often surprises people is that while I am Baptist, my wife is Jewish, yet both of our families embraced us with open arms despite our religious differences. We have taught our children that while people may hold different beliefs, an open mind can turn those differences into strengths. This perspective helps solve challenges and strengthen bonds between people, which is a principle I hold dearly and believe is vital for building a strong, unified community.
This mindset is also key to fostering collaboration within the school board, where diverse opinions can work together to address important issues. One of my strengths, instilled in me from a young age, is the ability to respect different viewpoints and use them to find common ground. I believe that electing me to the Richland Two School Board will bring a thoughtful, balanced approach to decision-making. Even when disagreements arise, I would encourage board members to respect the collective decision once it's made, as unity among the board creates a stronger, more trustworthy leadership for the community, staff, and students.
So, remember to VOTE GARY DENNIS for Richland Two School Board. Together, we can make a difference!
